How to set outgoing ringtone for jio and airtel sim
Setting an outgoing ringtone—also called a caller tune or caller ringback tone (CRBT)—for Jio and Airtel SIM cards lets your callers hear a song or sound instead of the standard ring when they call you. This feature is different from your phone’s regular ringtone (which you hear); this is what others hear when they call you.
Here’s how to set outgoing caller tunes for both Jio and Airtel:
📱 For Jio Users: How to Set Caller Tune
Method 1: Using the JioSaavn App
- Download & Install the JioSaavn app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Log in with your Jio number (you’ll receive an OTP for verification).
- Browse or search for the song you want.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the song or open the song page.
- Tap “Set as JioTune”.
- You’ll get a confirmation message, and the tune will be activated shortly.
Method 2: Using SMS
- Send an SMS with the word JT to 56789.
- You will receive a reply with song categories (Bollywood, devotional, etc.).
- Follow the instructions in the SMS to choose your preferred song.
Method 3: Using MyJio App
- Open the MyJio app.
- Go to the “JioTunes” section.
- Select a song and tap “Set as JioTune”.

✅ Notes:
- Caller tunes are what others hear when they call you, not your personal ringtone.
- Data charges may apply if you’re browsing in apps, but the tune setting process is generally free if you’re on eligible plans.
- Validity of the caller tune may vary—some stay active until manually removed, others may need renewal.
